Qualification Degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy.

Description This service is there to offer assessment, intervention, advice and support for people with severe or enduring mental ill health. The client group are adults aged 17-65. Service-users have a range of conditions, such as bi polar disorder, acute depression, schizophrenia, chronic anorexia nervosa, etc.
Vacancies are available in three teams:
1. Access and Short-Term Intervention Team: – responsible for initial referrals, prioritising cases, doing assessments and creating care plans together with the service-user.
2. Recovery Team: - responsible for support, coordination and outreach to service-users who require long-term placement away from home. Working with families and carers and with the aim to enable service-users to return home.
3. Early Intervention Service: - responsible for a young client group of 14-35. Responsible for providing intensive care, assessment, treatment and support to people experiencing mental ill health for the first time.
A good level of English, a driving licence and a willingness to drive in the UK are required. We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 years. The job requires evening and weekend shift work.
